Data Science Intern
What You Will Do
- Improve forecasting models that relate to vehicle durability issues
- Enhance text classification models that categorize customer complaints
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis
- Collaborate with other departments/internal customers concerning data acquisition and analysis
- Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Role
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, business analytics, economics, mathematics, statistics, or an engineering-related discipline
- Experience working with/performing data analysis and creating forecasting models
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in Python and/or R
- Familiarity with BI (business intelligence) tools
- Adept in Microsoft programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- A strong analytical mindset
- Excellent time management, self-management, and organization skills
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills
