THE ROLE
As a Service Engineer at Kempower, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. The Service Engineer ensures customer and partner satisfaction by providing technical support, resolving customer issues, and sharing knowledge in the DACH region. The role includes training, troubleshooting, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve services. This role focuses on ensuring excellent support, effective problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing to align with company goals. At times, this role may require flexibility with accommodating meetings with other time zones.
In this role you will
- Maintain and enhance the technical competence of service partners, supporting onboarding when needed.
- Provide technical support using tools like Jira and Teams.
- Support / reinforce existing Kempower training delivered to partners
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, including on-site visits when necessary.
- Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements.
- Share best practices, document key learnings, and contribute to service development.
- Continuously develop own expertise in Kempower’s tools, products, and services
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Degree or certification in Engineering, Technical Support, or you are qualified Electrician or have background in electrical engineering
- Technical background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Experience in providing technical support and training, preferably in EV or related industries.
- Familiarity with service best practices and SLA requirements and understanding of service processes.
- Ability to attend sites and conduct assessments and root cause analysis.
- Proficient in using support tools like Jira, Teams, or similar platforms
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with partners, customers, and internal teams.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry trends.
As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required. For this role, we require also native level of German.
