Raizan Solutions (Direct Placement Company) is hiring for a precision engineering and prototype manufacturing company specializing in Electric Vehicle (EV) components and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Position Overview

We’re seeking a detail-driven Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with an Electric Vehicle or Battery Management System.Experience Must have Experience and understands quoting design changes and managing supply chain operations for prototype manufacturing environments. This role requires technical understanding, cost awareness, and supplier negotiation skills to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Strong understanding of prototype production, EV systems, or Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Manage and execute the purchasing cycle for prototype and low-volume EV/BMS manufacturing projects.

• Prepare and analyze RFQs and design quotations based on engineering drawings and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and production teams to forecast material and component needs.
• Identify and qualify suppliers for electrical, mechanical, and fabricated components relevant to EV and BMS assemblies.
• Oversee supplier negotiations, purchase orders, lead times, and cost optimization.
• Monitor inventory, procurement schedules, and vendor performance to meet tight prototype timelines.
• Support supply chain documentation, vendor audits, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Engineering - Electric Vehicles or High Voltage or Battery Management Systems
• Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Quoting within Manufacturing or Prototype Engineering environments.
• Strong understanding where to acquire certain parts from vendors/suppliers, and determine logistics
• Proven ability to prepare accurate design quotes and evaluate supplier costs effectively.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with low-volume or custom fabrication (wiring harnesses, machined parts, or electrical assemblies).
• Familiarity with supply chain risk management and vendor development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
