Role Summary

Reporting to the Remarketing Operations Manager, Rivian is looking for a Sr. Remarketing Advisor to support the vehicle trade-in and disposition process. This position will also be responsible for helping drive operational process related to trade-in valuation, vehicle transportation and logistics, vehicle storage processes and optimization for the Remarketing Department. This individual will be accountable for meeting KPI targets while supporting broad company initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience working in automotive/tech, is comfortable with a fast-paced work environment and has an expertise and passion for electric vehicles. This individual should also be able to identify and utilize time management to solve operational bottlenecks that occur. The Remarketing Department needs team members dedicated to growing into a world-class operation!

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to achieve department and company KPI goals
  • Trailblaze new processes in the US market as Rivian expands deliveries
  • Thrive in difficult, complex and ambiguous situations; uses a mix of prior experience and natural curiosity to build unique solutions to some of the toughest problems in automotive
  • Possess both strong and professional communication capabilities
  • Partner with Service, Delivery, Logistics, Delivery and other internal departments to analyze location operations and processes to facilitate Remarketing support.
  • Utilize functional and technical experts to get a holistic view of initiatives and strategy; goes the extra mile to ensure all decisions and planning is complete with teams and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the organization; make yourself available to assist others with their initiatives and companywide goals
  • Be an agent of change that owns effective communication of company messages; ensures that the entire team is kept informed of the vision of our business
  • Create clear tactics and action steps when developing high level strategy, coach team to success through a combination of open questions, effective listening, and accountability to both goals and the team success

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Operations experience in a high-volume environment with large and diverse employee group across multiple markets; previous OEM Remarketing experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience in automotive or remarketing
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support customers on nights, weekends and/or holidays; ability and willingness to travel up to 25% based on business needs to support other market launches and operations
  • Working knowledge with computers and software including Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to effectively navigate internal business platforms
  • Expertise proficiency with Salesforce
  • Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable in your state/province
  • Ability to analyze reports and create action plans based on data using tools like Excel, Tableau, and internal reporting to identify trends and drive results
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Team-player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and consistently with limited direction
  • Empowered self-starter who can process and execute on complex information potentially in high stress environments

Physical Requirements

  • Willingness to work in various working conditions including being in a full service retail center or unpredictable weather conditions
  • Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting up to 2 or more hours at a time, standing for up to 8 or more hours a day, walking, bending, kneeling, laying, twisting, carrying, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Frequent use of hands for purposes of grasping and using tools correctly, entering data, writing communications, or calling customers or internal partners
  • Strong understanding of written and spoken English
  • Ability to see, read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions or schematics

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $78,700-98,400/year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
