Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced employees to fill the above vacancy in the Passenger Cars department based in Sandton.
- *Job Description and Responsibilities**
Plan, lead and organise cross-divisional and cross-departmental teams to ensure the successful project implementation of projects related to new energy vehicles and digital products
Contributes towards strategic development of new product offerings and product digitalization.
Manage projects to ensure customer requirements are met while being economically viable
Manage projects to achieve deadline while managing agile work processes
Engage with international forums to ensure releases and on time project achievement
Consistently evaluates and improves the sales and marketing customer journey
Takes ownership of the performance and analytics of the vehicle apps; We Connect Go, We Connect etc.
Leads projects to implement online services offered by the organization that enhance the Brand experience e.g. mobility apps, utility tools such as WePark etc.
Supports and implements e-Commerce strategies for online services offered within the connected car eco-system e.g. functions on demand, electric charging payments etc.
Prepare business cases with cross-departmental and cross-divisional departments for local and international forums
Develops communication and change management plans to instil adoption and handovers of projects to relevant departments.
- *Education and Experience**
A formal 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Business Management/ Marketing from a recognised tertiary institution.
Project Management certification and experience of project management from start to implementation
Minimum 5 years Product Planning experience in the Automotive Industry (preferably).
- *Requirements**:
Excellent understanding of the changing automotive and competitor environment in SA and SSA
Experience with product management strategies, process and project implementation.
Experience with development of digital eco-systems
Experience in leading cross-divisional teams
Experience in automotive process and systems would be advantageous
Understanding of product marketing core processes.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with an excellent command of the English language Ability to develop implementation/ project plans for EV and Digital products
Ability to present strategic concepts in a clear and concise way
Data analysis
Ability to build strong business relationships
Results driven
Ability to operate in a high performance team
Budget management and an understanding of fundamental financial principles
Computer literacy
