Our international petrochemical client, based in Alrode (Alberton), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven EV Charge Business Development Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

As the EV Charge Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our EV charging solutions across diverse markets. You will leverage your expertise in business development, energy sector insights, and motor industry knowledge to cultivate strategic partnerships, seize new opportunities, and accelerate the growth of our EV charging business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate potential business opportunities within the electric vehicle charging sector.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored EV charging solutions that meet clients' unique needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, clients, and government entities.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships and agreements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to inform business development strategies.
  • Analyze market data, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify areas for product and service improvement.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Represent at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our EV charging solutions.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Sales Engineer (with engineering graduate, and robust electrical engineering experience (in LV/MV, batteries if possible). Knowing perfectly electrical cabinets, switchboard subject etc..
  • Experience : Electrical engineering
  • Valid passport
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles, with a focus on technology solutions and/or energy services.
  • Experience within the energy sector, electric vehicle industry, or related motor industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Package & Remuneration

R30, 000.00 - R35, 000.00 p/m CTC

13 th cheque

14 th cheque/Performance Bonus after financial year end based on KPI’s achieved

Travel allowance in terms of a Company Fleet Card, covers fuel, maintenance & tollfees
