S&B USA has recently launched an Electric Vehicle and Mobility infrastructure arm of the business with the goal of developing mega EV projects in the coming years.

Job Summary

The E-mobility and EV Bid and Proposal Specialist will manage the planning, development, executables, and delivery of assigned bids, presentations, and RFP/RFQ/RFI responses for both Private and Public sector clients/partners.

This is an exciting opportunity if you have a passion and interest in sustainability, eMobility and battery energy storage and looking to work in an innovative environment.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of eMobility, has a passion and enthusiasm to learn, good technical skills, written and oral skills and confident interacting and engaging clients or prospective clients.

Responsibilities

• Read, review and dissect requests for proposal (RFP), request for quotation (RFQ), and request for information (RFI) to determine scope and requirements.
• Subscribe, collect, and proactively seek new bid collection opportunities via federal, state, and municipal processes.
• Proactively reach out and contact potential clients, suppliers, and partners to schedule meetings and build relationships with the S&B USA EV team.
• Maintain our CRM platform and bid software.
• Research, analyze, and derive insights from information to ensure the driving of key selling messages in the bid.
• Partner with subject matter experts, management, ant the marketing team to identify a winning bid strategy and messaging tailored to a target audience.
• Establish priority for bid tasks and work with resources and management to ensure an understanding of priorities and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Research, write and assemble specific presentations, bids, and proposals using relevant business software, ensuring content is consistent with S&B Business Development, and corporate marketing guidelines.
• Interpret complex information and drafts information per target audience.
• Proofread and edit written documents and provide ideas, suggestions and concept development to enhance bids and proposals with the assistance of the marketing team.
• Implement and improve the organizations proposal process form pre-proposal planning through proposal delivery and support of post-submittal deliverables.
• Regularly communicate project status, identifies obstacles/deviations/delays, and addresses issue not to deviate from delivery timeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or relevant field
• 1-4 years of experience in sales proposal production, communication, and managing multiple projects
• Ability to demonstrate the bid and proposal process through technical proposal writing preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and planning/prioritizing skills.
• Strong communication skills
