Part-Time Electric Vehicle

Join a team that fosters student learning and professional growth in the field of electric vehicles. As a Part-Time Electric Vehicle Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in facilitating hands-on learning experiences for students. Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting faculty instruction by assisting with lectures, demonstrations, and lab activities focused on EV technology, diagnostics, and safety procedures.
• Observing, coaching, and assisting students in completing lab exercises and assignments related to EV systems and high-voltage vehicle maintenance.
• Ensuring lab safety by enforcing OSHA, SDS, and high-voltage EV safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and hazardous materials handling.
• Providing technical support to students during lab sessions, troubleshooting EV system diagnostics, battery management systems (BMS), and high-voltage components.

You will also be responsible for maintaining lab environments, including setup, breakdown, and organization of tools, equipment, and high-voltage safety stations. Additionally, you may assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as participate in college promotional events and community engagement activities.
