Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced A-Tech Master EV Mechanic with specialized expertise diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles—particularly Tesla, Rivian, Fisker, or Lucid models. The ideal candidate has advanced technical skills working with high-voltage systems, battery packs, drivetrains, and manufacturer specific diagnostics. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and strict adherence to EV safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software related issues using OEM or equivalent diagnostic tools.
- Repair, service, and replace EV battery packs, modules, and high voltage components.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
- Safely handle and service high-voltage systems in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Accurately document all repairs, diagnostics, and recommended work.
- Collaborate with the service team to improve repair processes and share technical expertise.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of EV repair experience, including hands-on work with Tesla, Rivian, Fisker, or Lucid vehicles.
- A-Tech level diagnostic and repair capabilities across EV motors, charging systems, thermal management, and HV wiring.
- Proven experience repairing and troubleshooting EV battery packs, modules, and BMS related issues.
- High voltage safety certification or equivalent training strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic platforms (Tesla Toolbox, Rivian Service Tools, Lucid software, etc.) or comparable systems.
- Solid understanding of EV safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and HV handling.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and time management skills.
