Electrical Charging Installation Manager Position

As an Electrical Charging Installation Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design, specification and safe delivery of domestic EV charger installations. You will lead a team of engineers, oversee the project lifecycle from site survey to final commissioning, carry out on-site technical audits and maintain quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of domestic EV charger installations.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from site survey to final commissioning.
• Carry out on-site technical audits and ensure quality assurance.
• Support scheduling and operational planning.
• Mentor engineers and apprentices with hands-on training and guidance.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for EV projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience in electrical installation management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of EV charging installation and design principles.
• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2921-31 or equivalent (EV Charger Installation).
• City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent (Testing & Inspection).
• Understanding of isolation procedures and electrical compliance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Valid UK driving licence.
