As an Electrical Engineer – EV, you will develop and integrate electrical systems for our eVTOL platform, including high-voltage systems, power electronics, and embedded hardware, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a detail-oriented, self-driven individual comfortable working across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and test electrical power systems, including batteries, high-voltage distribution, and propulsion interfaces.
• Collaborate on embedded electronics for flight control, sensors, and safety systems.
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using tools like Altium or KiCad.
• Support integration and testing of motor controllers, sensors, and avionics.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and noise mitigation.
• Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and data analysis.
• Coordinate with mechanical, aeronautical, and software teams for system integration.
• Maintain documentation and support FAA compliance efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical design, prototyping, and testing.
• Knowledge of DC power, battery management, and motor control.
• Experience with embedded hardware and microcontrollers.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and system redundancy.
• Proficiency with tools like Altium, LTspice, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace, UAVs, or electric vehicles.
• Knowledge of FAA certification processes.
• Familiarity with LIDAR, obstacle sensors, and autonomous navigation hardware.
• Basic understanding of control systems or software-controlled flight.
