Strategic Account Executive - Heavy Duty Fleets

About This Opportunity

EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time Strategic Account Executive for one of our partners that is a leading developer of commercial EV infrastructure solutions supporting large-scale fleet electrification across North America. In this position, you will lead the go-to-market strategy for selling charging services to fleets across the U.S., drive revenue growth by activating established networks within the fleet ecosystem, and design customized solutions for key stakeholders in the transportation, freight shipping, and logistics sectors. This position is fully remote, with travel required 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate sales performance by leveraging existing fleet industry relationships and creating tailored solutions for strategic partners, including freight haulers, logistics companies, last-mile delivery fleets, and fleet management service providers
  • Source and develop high-impact business opportunities in public charging infrastructure, deployment services, and energy management solutions
  • Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with key fleet influencers, including sustainability leaders, operations directors, and procurement executives
  • Assess client requirements and configure solutions that support their vehicle electrification objectives while addressing operational realities
  • Partner with original equipment manufacturers, utility companies, and infrastructure providers to create comprehensive, integrated offerings
  • Serve as company ambassador at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, and fleet networking events
  • Coordinate with product development, engineering, and operations departments to deliver on customer expectations
  • Relay market intelligence to guide product roadmap decisions and pricing strategy refinement
  • Manage the complete sales pipeline, including opportunity tracking, revenue forecasting, and key performance indicators
  • Deliver consistent updates to executive leadership regarding sales progress, obstacles, and industry developments
  • Establish clear performance targets and achieve outcomes using data-driven approaches, emphasizing metrics, pipeline health, and new account acquisition
  • Champion customer perspectives and requirements across the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Deep commitment to understanding and prioritizing customer needs in every interaction
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or fleet operations within transportation, logistics, or clean energy sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated industry expertise and fluency in technical areas such as eMobility, electric vehicles, public EV charging infrastructure, commercial vehicle services, hydrogen fueling, battery storage, fleet management solutions, and commercial fueling operations
  • Documented success in selling sophisticated, multi-faceted solutions to enterprise-level or public sector organizations
  • Exceptional abilities in communication, negotiation, and cultivating long-term professional relationships
  • Proven capacity to excel in dynamic, purpose-driven startup cultures
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management platforms (such as Salesforce) and sales performance analytics tools
  • Flexibility to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
