We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Assembler to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. As an assembler, you will play a hands-on role in building and assembling our 100V EV Training Benches and 48V Go Kart Batteries, designed to empower the next generation of e-mobility professionals and enthusiasts.Key Responsibilities:Assembly of Products:Assemble Legacy EV’s 100V EV Training Benches, ensuring proper wiring, component placement, and adherence to quality standards.Assemble 48V Go Kart Batteries, with attention to battery safety, wiring accuracy, and performance specifications.Quality Control:Perform routine inspections during and after assembly to ensure all products meet design and safety requirements.Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or safety concerns to the Head of Assembly.Technical Skills:Interpret and follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.Connect and test CANbus, battery management systems, high voltage interlocks, and motor systems for functionality.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to high-voltage safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.Ensure all components and assemblies comply with ADA, safety, and quality standards.Work closely with the Head of Assembly to meet production deadlines and optimize assembly processes.Communicate effectively with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (required).Technical training or coursework in electrical, mechanical, or EV-related fields, preferred.Ability to use basic hand and power tools effectively and safely.Basic understanding of wiring, electrical systems, and assembly processes, preferred (training will be provided).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Compensation and Benefits:Compensation Range: $16–$22/hour (based on experience and qualifications).Full-time position with opportunities for career growth in the EV industry.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities, including training in advanced EV systems.Why Join Legacy EV?At Legacy EV, you’ll be part of a passionate team driving the future of electric mobility.
