[POEN America Inc.] EV Battery Technician

Job Purpose

This role primarily focuses on diagnosing and refurbishing EV battery packs to restore proper function.

You will work with both high- and low-voltage battery systems to replace components, evaluate battery performance using testing equipment, and conduct final quality inspections.

In addition to core responsibilities, you may also support testing of new battery models, and you may be required to travel to external sites when needed to resolve field quality issues.

You will also coordinate on-site staff and schedules to ensure smooth daily operations.

All tasks must be carried out in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards, with thorough documentation and proper organization of results.

Job description

· Perform diagnostics and refurbishment on high- and low-voltage EV battery systems

· Assess battery performance using reliability testing equipment

· Assist with testing and integration of new battery models

· Carry out final quality inspections and manage accompanying documentation

· Travel as needed to support on-site quality issue resolution

· Coordinate on-site staff and schedules to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma in a relevant technical field
• Min. 2 years of experience in a related field (automotive, EV battery preferred)
• Basic proficiency with computers and diagnostic tools
• Bi-lingual Korean a plus
