Automotive Technician – Electric Vehicle (EV)

Job Overview
We’re looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined technicians to join the team supporting the daily operations of an advanced electric vehicle fleet. As a Fleet Technician, you’ll help keep vehicles safe, charged, clean, and road-ready by performing inspections, light repairs, and collaborating with both software and hardware teams.

What You’ll Do
- Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and system integrity
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues (with training provided)
- Complete repairs ranging from tire and brake replacement to minor component swaps
- Work with diagnostic tools and onboard systems to identify alerts or errors
- Maintain vehicle appearance (cleaning, calibration checks, minor cosmetic repairs)
- Monitor battery health and manage charging schedules
- Log repairs, inspections, and parts usage using fleet software and handheld tools
- Collaborate with engineers, fleet leads, and operations teams to improve performance
- Uphold safety protocols and cleanliness standards in the facility and on vehicles
What We’re Looking For
Required
- hands-on experience in automotive repair, fleet maintenance, or technician roles
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and ability to follow troubleshooting procedures
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., tablets, software systems)
Nice to Have
- Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, etc.)
- ASE certifications or EV repair training
- Background in robotics, automation, or systems diagnostics
- Prior experience in fleet operations, rental services, or dealership service bays

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39.00 - $49.00 per hour
