Job Purpose

  • To diagnose, maintain, and repair electric vehicles (EVs) while ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of EV technology, including lithium-ion batteries, electric motors, and associated automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on electric vehicles, including tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid changes.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems in EVs, including high-voltage battery packs, charging systems, and electric motors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the interaction between lithium-ion batteries and other automotive systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of EVs to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in EV technology and repair procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance performed on EVs accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
