EV Technician @NUVO BUS

We are seeking fresh and motivated candidates to join our Electric Bus (EV) service team as EV Technicians. This is an entry-level position ideal for ITI or Diploma holders who are passionate about electric vehicles and looking to start their career in the EV public transport sector. You will receive hands-on training to perform installation, routine service, and maintenance of electric buses and their key systems such as battery packs, power electronics, electric drivetrains, and charging systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in routine service and preventive maintenance of electric buses.

Support senior technicians in diagnosing and resolving electrical and electronic faults.

Help with battery inspection, monitoring cell health, checking BMS (Battery Management System), and recording data.

Perform basic checks on motors, inverters, converters, wiring harnesses, and safety systems.

Learn to use diagnostic tools/software to identify and clear system faults.

Assist in charging station checks, connectors, and charging equipment maintenance.

Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines when working with high-voltage systems.

Maintain proper service records, checklists, and report issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering.

Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in automotive or electrical servicing.

Basic understanding of EV technology, batteries, or electric circuits (training will be provided).

Good physical fitness and willingness to work on-site or at bus depots.

Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and work in a team.

Skills & Competencies

Interest in electric vehicles and sustainable transport.

Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.

Understanding of safety practices while working with high-voltage systems.

Familiarity with tools like multimeters, torque wrenches, and software diagnostic tools (preferred, not mandatory).

Training & Growth Opportunities
