Professor of Electric Vehicle Engineering (Two Vacancies)

Provides Engineering Technology Instruction focused mainly in Electrical and Electric Vehicle Engineering related courses. A background in Electrical Engineering and/ or Electric Vehicle Automotive Technology is preferred. ASE and/ or other EV industry related certifications are a plus. Provides curriculum development and assessment, care of facilities, equipment and other details pertinent to the program. Manages community outreach functions related to the program. May teach in the day, evening, on-campus, as well as alternative delivery methods (i.e. internet, hybrid, etc).

This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Northeast campus.

One of the below is required for this position

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of industry experience in teaching discipline for Engineering Technology courses.
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours related to the discipline for courses intended for university transfer.
• Associate degree and appropriate combination of experience and industrial certifications will be considered on a case- by- case basis.

Master's degree preferred in Electrical or Electric Vehicle Engineering preferred. ASE and/or other EV industry related certifications preferred.
