Scooty Technician EV Manufacturing

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Scooty Technician looking to join our Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing team. Your role will involve assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electric scooters to ensure all units meet company quality and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include assembling electric scooters according to manufacturing specifications, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various scooter components such as batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, brakes, and suspension. You will also be required to perform routine maintenance, quality checks, and testing on completed scooters to ensure functionality. Additionally, you will work closely with engineering teams to suggest design improvements based on field issues, maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness, and accurately document repair and maintenance work.

To qualify for this role, you should hold a minimum ITI certificate in Motor Mechanic, Electrical, Fitter, or related fields. A Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering is preferred. You should have 1 to 3 years of experience in two-wheeler assembly, maintenance, or EV manufacturing, with hands-on experience in electric scooters, batteries, motors, and controllers being highly desirable. Candidates with good practical skills and ITI/Diploma qualifications may also be considered for entry-level positions.

Key skills required for this role include a strong knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical manuals, basic knowledge of EV components such as Lithium-ion batteries, BLDC motors, and controllers, good problem-solving and diagnostic skills, and a keen attention to detail. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Dhulagori, Howrah, West Bengal.
