Site Acquisition Specialist – EV Charging Infrastructure

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and outgoing Site Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing new partnerships with property owners and businesses interested in hosting Universal EV Chargers.
You’ll manage a defined regional territory and spend most of your time meeting potential partners in person building relationships with owners, general managers, and decision-makers at hotels, gas stations, retail centers, and other commercial sites. Your goal: secure signed site host agreements and help expand Universal EV Chargers’ footprint across your region.
Key ResponsibilitiesOutreach & Site Acquisition
- Identify and target potential EV charger host sites across your assigned region.
- Conduct in-person meetings with business owners, property managers, and GMs to present partnership opportunities.
- Explain Universal EV Chargers’ turnkey programs, financial models, and the benefits of hosting charging stations.
- Negotiate and secure site host agreements in alignment with company objectives and compliance requirements.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
Relationship Building
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with local business owners, developers, and community stakeholders.
- Represent Universal EV Chargers at regional events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to drive new business.
- Serve as the ongoing point of contact for partners in your territory, ensuring clear communication and professional follow-up.
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with the corporate sales, deployment, and operations teams to transition new sites smoothly into the installation pipeline.
- Keep detailed and organized records of outreach, meetings, and agreements using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Provide regular progress updates and market feedback to the sales leadership team.
Market Awareness
- Stay informed on local market trends, EV adoption rates, and relevant grant or utility incentive programs (e.g., NEVI, CFI).
- Identify key locations with high traffic potential or limited existing charging infrastructure.
- Share field insights to improve marketing and sales strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or territory management, preferably in EV charging, solar, telecom, or real estate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with business owners and influence decisions.
- Confident presenter—able to explain complex programs in a simple, value-driven way.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Comfortable with frequent travel (50–70% within assigned region).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
