Remote EV Charger Service Coordinator (Part-Time, 15 hrs/week)

Responsibilities

Work Order Management

Accept new work orders in our portal within the required time windows.

Confirm shipping addresses and handle FedEx location verification when needed.

Track part shipping and delivery ETAs.

Close out jobs once technicians provide completion details.

Customer & Technician Coordination

Send introduction emails to site hosts.

Confirm on-site Points of Contact (POCs).

Coordinate technician schedules, availability, and travel time.

Follow up on parts, site requirements, delays, and visit readiness.

Provide status updates to customers and internal leadership.

Tracking & Reporting

Update internal trackers with job status, scheduling updates, and ETA changes.

Maintain accurate logs of all active and completed jobs.

Flag urgent issues or exceptions that require escalation.

Logistics

Assist with travel coordination (hotel, flights) for technicians when required.

Verify part deliveries before confirming job dates.

Support technicians by ensuring correct documentation is collected.

Required Qualifications

Strong written and spoken English.

Experience in administration, coordination, dispatching, customer support, or operations.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, portals, CRMs, or ticketing systems.

Professional communication skills for interacting with customers and technicians.

Reliable internet connection.

Availability for at least 2–4 hours of overlap with PST (California time), Monday–Friday.

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in field service management or technical dispatching.

Familiarity with logistics, scheduling, or multi-step workflow coordination.

Experience supporting remote or field teams.
