Job Description
As an EV Volkswagen Technician, you will specialize in the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of Volkswagen electric vehicles, using the latest tools and technology. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of our customers’ EVs, and you’ll be a key player in our mission to support the transition to electric mobility.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on Volkswagen electric vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and testing on high-voltage components, battery systems, electrical systems, and drivetrain.
- Utilize specialized tools, software, and equipment for electric vehicles, staying current with Volkswagen’s EV advancements.
- Document repairs and maintenance in compliance with company and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve service efficiency.
- Provide outstanding customer service by clearly explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification is preferred.
- Must have completed Volkswagen High-Voltage Expert (HVE) training.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with electric vehicles and high-voltage systems.
- Strong diagnostic skills with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Familiarity with Volkswagen’s diagnostic software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
