Business Analyst Intern for EV Charging

Position Overview: Join our team as a Business Analyst Intern focusing on EV Charging and New Fuels, where you will gain hands-on experience while supporting our efforts to provide state-of-the-art fuel solutions. This role will allow you to contribute to research, analysis, and impactful reporting aimed at enhancing our profitability and customer experience in the rapidly evolving energy sector. Your Responsibilities

• Support the expansion of our fuel offerings by incorporating high-speed diesel, innovative travel center products, and electric vehicle charging solutions.
• Manage communications with landlords regarding EV charging installations and oversee contract management, including filing, tracking, and renewals.
• Develop and refine existing Excel analysis models, conduct research, and present findings to drive actionable business solutions.
• Conduct benchmarking analysis against industry peers, identifying best practices and emerging technologies to enhance fuel management.
• Assist in nurturing relationships with third-party EV charging partners, collaborating on financial benefits and marketing initiatives.
• Research and analyze grant opportunities for EV charging and alternative fuel initiatives; support the execution of grant applications and ensure compliance with ongoing reporting requirements.
• Evaluate current IT capabilities, identify gaps, and propose solutions to address departmental needs.
• Document business processes and support continuous improvements through technical enhancements.
• Coordinate activities related to new store designs and equipment changes to improve customer experience.
• Prepare and communicate reports for stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
• Contribute to market share and conversion reporting, including the establishment of EV charging market share metrics.
• Organize and improve file directories, spreadsheets, and documentation for better efficiency.
• Assist in exploring, designing, and developing new data management technologies.
• Participate in the creation of reports and long-term market forecasts that align with corporate strategic goals.
• Enhance your documentation, research, and analysis skills through structured learning opportunities.
• Support miscellaneous departmental needs, including meeting preparation, capturing minutes, and managing communications with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
