Program Structure and Responsibilities

Learn to safely handle high-voltage electrical systems, battery management systems, and charging infrastructure. Master diagnostic procedures for electric and hybrid powertrains, including motors, inverters, and regenerative braking systems. Develop proficiency in using specialized diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and scan tools specific to EVs and HEVs. Perform routine maintenance services, such as battery coolant checks, tire rotations, and brake inspections, with an emphasis on EV/HEV specific components. Assist senior technicians in complex repairs, gaining exposure to a wide range of vehicle makes and models. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, particularly concerning high-voltage systems and personal protective equipment. Attend regular training sessions and workshops to stay updated on emerging electric vehicle technologies. Develop strong customer service skills by interacting with clients regarding vehicle service needs and explanations. Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient workshop environment. High school diploma or equivalent is required. A strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine passion for automotive technology, especially electric and hybrid vehicles.
